Grandma's Caramel Corn

Since I moved away I don't see my Grandmother too often. She and I are very close and when I'm missing her I like to make her microwave caramel corn. The whole house smells like popcorn and caramel; just like her house would smell when I came to sleep over and she'd make her wonderfully buttery perfect caramel corn. It's so comforting to have those memories when we are apart- and to eat, eat, eat until it's gone!                  The recipe is from our family cookbook. I love Grandma's warning in all-caps (her signature) especially because I am extremely clumsy and would probably burn myself if I didn't see her warning every time! Maybe she wrote it with me in mind...
